Throughout Jen’s 20-year (so far!) insurance career, she has always held a passion for delivering superior service, holding positions from Client Manager to Account Executive to Senior Client Advisor for commercial property & casualty clients nationwide. Employing this foundational service principle led her to the role of Vice-President of Operations at a firm with offices along the East Coast before joining the dynamic South Risk Management in 2017. When South Risk was acquired by Propel Insurance in 2021, Jen transitioned into the P&C Service Director – Southeast role. Following Propel’s integration into Alera Group the same year, her duties expanded to encompass all Alera Group P&C firms in the Southeast in 2023.

Jen holds both Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations and degrees in Risk Management & Insurance and Finance from the University of South Carolina. She has served on carrier advisory boards and as a Board member for the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers (“Big I”) of Greater Charleston, earning multiple service awards along the way. Outside of work, Jen enjoys spending time at the lake with her husband, Ben, who is also in the insurance field, and their dogs, Ralph and Lina.
