Propel Welcomes Melissa Shealy to Our Southeast Employee Benefits Team
Propel Insurance, An Alera Group Company, welcomes Melissa Shealy to our Southeast Employee Benefits Team as a Sales Executive. Melissa joins Propel, bringing over 20+ years of expertise in the Employee Benefits arena.
Melissa joins the Propel Employee Benefits team, which provides comprehensive employee benefit consulting to our clients nationwide. When asked about her new role, Melissa shares, “I am so excited to be a part of this team! Employee Benefits is an amazing career and I am thankful to work with clients who care for their employees. We help our clients tailor benefit solutions to meet the needs of their company and employees by overseeing initiatives concentrated on claims, wellness and overall risk.”

Melissa lives in Columbia, SC. An industry veteran since 1995, Melissa has been selected several times for President’s Council for Blue Cross Blue Shield South Carolina and BlueChoice Health Plan. Outside of work, Melissa is passionate about helping rescue homeless animals and is a current Board Member of Pawmetto Lifeline Animal Shelter in Columbia, SC.
