Propel Insurance Welcomes James Cogdill to the Knoxville Team
Propel Insurance, An Alera Group Company, welcomes James Cogdill to our Knoxville team as a Sales Executive. James joins Propel, bringing over 11 years of experience in the industry. He has experience in all areas of insurance but primarily concentrates on construction, builders’ risk, bonds, and general business.
James joins the Knoxville Team, which provides a strategic, collaborative, and innovative process to provide insights and solutions to insurance needs. When asked about his new role, James Cogdill shares, “I am excited to be a part of this team and use Propel’s platform to expand my knowledge in this industry. My top priority is to build honest and trustworthy relationships. I want clients to feel confident working with our team by providing them with a true understanding of their insurance options. Collaborating to overcome challenges while hopefully making friendships in the process is one of my favorite outcomes in our industry.”

James Cogdill lives in Knoxville, where he is actively involved in the Tennessee Road Builders Association (TRBA), Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA), as well as Rotary Club and the Helen Ross McNabb Center. James loves spending time with his wife, Sloane and their two daughters, Margaret James and Hallie. He is a devoted sports fan (GO VOLS!) and enjoys golfing and fishing.
